Two Questions For Larry

Postby sptrix » Mon Feb 26, 2007 7:23 pm

Larry:

First, thanks for such an incredible site and for allowing all of us to live vicariously through you and your terrific program. It certainly helps the long, cold days pass more swiftly here in Minnesota!

Two questions for you (and I apologize if you've addressed these before):
1. If you could pick just one final trip to take, where would you go?; and

2. If there's one place you'd like to fish where you haven't been, where would it be and why?

Thanks in advance,

Steve Powers

Hi Steve,
I'm glad you enjoy my efforts, thanks for the kind words.
If I had only one place I'd like to return to (if I could get there and back by clicking my heels together and had edible food along) I would be to a river in Nicaragua that's full of tarpon.
One place I've not been but would like to experiece is Lake Baika. l enjoy seeing different types of marine environments and think Baikal would be both fascinating and unique.
There are a couple of island groups in the Atlantic I'd also like to check out for billfish. I've also got an urge to try and find the tarpon I've heard rumor of that visit the area adjacent to the mouth of the Amazon.
A couple others come to mind, but I just as soon not mention them on the web!
best,
L
