I too have found Senko type baits useful in saltwater. Snook, Reds and Flounder. Recently their was an article in Shallow Water Angler about using them for Barracuda. What other freshwater soft baits do you find work in Saltwater?

The list of ones that don't work would be shorter!
I've caught everything from billfish to bonefish on freshwater soft plastics!

Hi Henry,
I'm confused, did they publish my letter? I haven't recieved this months issue.
Larry is right. I use all kinds of soft plastic worms, jerks, creatures, crawdads, shrimp, crabs, swim baits, etc.
I first started useing Senkos for dippin in the rocks on the jetties. I was in a local tak store and saw some with a chart. tail and thought they would work for dippin and I wouldn't have to keep taking as much smelly, slimy frozen bait. They worked well and my experiments with soft plastics have taken off and that is all I use these days.
