Rod building and using the balancer

Postby Chris M » Fri Feb 09, 2007 11:10 pm

I am building my 5th rod and have been thinking of using the balancer. Is it alright to epoxy the balancer for a permanent application or would there be some draw back to this?

On any rod, especially longer ones, I like adding a balancer.
I'd suggest using a silicone glue. Be sure to squeeze all the air out and dab a little on the weights so they're nice and tight and can't rattle.
