unusual conditions

Hi Larry,

First off I'm a big fan Larry. Now I'm going up to my cottage for my annual trip the first week of June to Iron County in the Upper Peninsula. I've been fishing up there for 15 years and seriously muskie fishing for about 5. This will be the first year fishing with water levels this high and here we are going into mid May and there is still snow in my driveway so an abnormally cold spring is also against me. Usually I'm chunking full size musky lures with success by this time. Just wondering if you had any experience or advice for fishing conditions similar to these.

Thanks, Coltin Thomas

I predict the best fishing you've ever had if you get calm clear weather.
The fish should be sniffing around for 60 degree water and visible in the shallows, saddles etc.
I've had best success with smaller neutrally buoyant lures, jigs, lizards and even flies.
best
