suspending crankbaits?

Should a crankbait like the River2Sea BIGGIE also be made in a suspending version, just as the minnow-jerkbaits like the R2S RIPPER? Would it benefit a crankbait if it has the ability to suspend?

It would in some circumstances, but remember by making a lure suspend requires making it more dense which often changes how it behaves in the water as well.
