I wish I knew! I asked the very same question. Because of it's great line capacity it makes a fantastic live bait reel for stripers, tarpon, etc. and a clicker would be a benefit.

Hopefully, someday, the geniuses at Shimano will add a clicker, a left-handed model, and the under-blank bracket to help secure it to the rod (not sure what those are called?)
