question for Larry about Slug-go baits

Larry, I think I remember an episode where you were using them and catching large muskie. how large and what colors do you do you suggest for muskie and how do you like to rig and retrieve them. thanks Larry Brink

wow, you must have a memory like an elephant when it comes to fishing. Simply amazing. I did that back in the mid eighties when I was with InFish and Sluggo was for sale as a company. Cabela had a change to buy them for really cheap but didn't think fisherman would be able to figure out how to use them!
Quite honestly, I forget the exact length but I'd say around 6 or seven inches.
there are several other things that usually work just as well. There are also several other things in totally different "categories" that frequently work when the sluggo approach may not.

I agree 100%. In fact i made my own version that'll look a little more "sand eel" like It was super easy and I just used the Mold Putty to do a really quick, 10 minute mold. Turned out really good. I also made a "Ribbed" sluggo for a little more action. My lures were about 8" to target big stripers.
