Hi Larry,
How have you been? Good I hope. I know you're a big fan of the uni knot
but I was just wondering what type of knot you use when you want to tie a fly on to a "non-slip loop". Is there a such a knot that would give you
close to 100% strength.
As always Thanks !
Joe

I use the no-slip loop knot from Kreh and Sosin's book on Knot Tying. It's a great knot, and easy to tie with cold hands. When I was testing strength of braided and monofilament lines last winter the line always broke before the knot did.

HI Joe,
I use a uni, except first tie an overhand knot through which the tag is passed before tying the uni.
best,
