Gaint Catfish

Hey Larry, have you ever fished or thought of fishing for the Mekong Catfish? They are supposed to be the largest freshwater fish.

Hi A,
I've looked into it, but it doesn't seem like a very good odds deal. THe locals use nets (which is how the big one we all saw pictures of on the web was caught) that stretch bank to bank which and would be hard to compete with. Also from what I understand the fish are quite rare; even endangered. There are a few places opening up where they've been "impounded" and people do catch them, but I'm not too interested in traveling half way around the world to fish in a "barrel".
