I loved the show where you went back to Egypt to target the giant nile perch. Cool stuff. I was looking at your setups (tackle) on the show. What were the combos? Which Calcutta / Teramar models were together and what Trinidad / Trevala Combo were you using? You mentioned the line but I wanted to know how you balanced the rod / reel combos. All of the combos looked comfortable to fish with and I wanted to copy them for snook and tarpon fishing in south Florida.

Hi J,
For casting we were using 7 foot med heavy rods and calcutta 400s or curado dsv 300's.
For trolling we used #16 Trinidads and the med action 6'6" jigging rods.
They performed flawlessly, and yes, they'd be great for Poons and snookies!

Thank you for the info. You ARE the man. A great angler and a nice guy. Thank you for being accessible to us common folk. I love to pick the brain of a person with such a great deal of experience. A lot of experienced anglers wont take the time to share ideas or answer stupid questions. I appreciate your replies.
