diving and snorkeling

hi larry thanks again for the quick response to my last ? about finding fish. you mentioned talking with commericial guys,and divers. its kinda funny that you mentioned that, because i recently purchased a mask and snorkel, and a set of fins with the intention of diving off my kayak to search for fish and learn about my electronics a little better. besides diving over the side for peackock bass that are tangled in trees, do you snorkel or dive? or do you just get info from divers? im sure its one of the best ways to learn. Mike Laptew , "The Diving Fisherman " has some great footage in his video library. His stuff is highly recommended if you haven't seen it before. Educational, and just plain cool to watch. i've done a little diving/snorkeling and loved it, but always got pulled away to pick up my fishing rod! I've seen some of the Laptew footage. Great stuff.
