Greers Ferry 1982 and Wolf/Tiger Fish

Postby PaulWilliam79 » Fri Jun 22, 2007 9:52 pm

Hey Larry. I was looking in your photos and saw that 22lb. 11oz. Walleye that Al Nelson caught at Greers Ferry on March 12, 1982. I found the info on the AGFC.com website. I thought it was really cool to have pictures in your archive so close to my home. We fly-fish the little red when we've got the chance.

Have a great day and thanks for the reply about the Shimano Chronarch line.

Keep the pictures coming!

p.s.-when might you have some more footage of wolf and tiger fishing? Where can I get the old epidosdes from? Thanks.

Glad you got a kick out of the photos. At that time Branson only had one bar and it had a dirt floor!
Is the Fairfield Bay Marina etc still there? As you may know, along with Pepsi, they sponsored the walleye contest at GF.
Only footage I've got out so far is the first dvd volume with a 4-hour assortment of different species.
best,
L

Larry, thanks again for the reply.

As for the Marina, I am not real sure. It's been awhile since I have been up that way.

Good luck in your travels and God Bless.
