Dahl, Before I asked about to arrived to Colombia.
The last week 4 native fishermen caught a leyend Mero fish (244 pounds)in puerto Colombia. A bad thing was that the fish was sold for 350 dollars. All fishermen have spoken about this fish but they talk about other giant Mero fish in this zone. Searching about this zone others fishermen have caught similar big Meros fish.

DAHL, have you ever caught a mero fish? If you have tought to come to colombia this is a good sign.

thanks for the post. That's a whopper, but hard to tell exactly what it is due to the camera angle. Looks like some kind of giant grouper.

Yes this fish is a grouper, sorry because I put the name fish in spanish.
