Shimano vs. Daiwa spinning reels

I know you're sponsored by Shimano, but how do their reelspare with Daiwa's?



I've always favored Shimano reels but some of the new Daiwa's I've seen look pretty sweet.

Diawa has always made good products and are enough of a challenge quality-wise to keep Shimano on their toes, which is good!
The two overwhelming advantages I see with Shimano are, number one it's a proven, known entity, and secondly their customer service and repair are second to none, which is a big deal if and when you need it!
