i hope to be fishing in miami this november for peacocks. what would be the best fly tackle for this fishing

I just got back from a week in Miami. I used my 8 wt. and felt a bit over gunned. I think a 6 wt. would have been more enjoyable. I didnt catch any peacocks over 4lb.s.
